Colonial Regional Police say 16-year-old Kyle Kulp was in full diving gear when he was pulled from the water Saturday at a popular diving spot in Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County.
Detective Gary Hammer says Kulp was diving at Dutch Springs, a former cement quarry-turned-diving spot when he became distressed. Bystanders tried to revive the teen before he was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Hammer says the teen's death is not considered suspicious but a cause and manner of death has not yet been determined.
