Flames tore through the Bellmawr Manor apartments on the 1000 block of Kings Highway in Bellmawr around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The fire started in a first floor apartment and quickly spread to three other units. It took a half an hour to get the fire under control.
Authorities say the fatal victim is a man who was physically disabled and dependant on an oxygen tank.
Officials say there were no working smoke detectors.
The official cause of the fire is not known at this time.
