The first one happened on Sunday afternoon outside the walk outlets near Arkansas Avenue. A man pointed a handgun at a man who was sitting on a bench and robbed him of about $1,000.
The second robbery took place two days later on the 100 block of South California Avenue. A 62-year-old woman was walking home from a convenience store when a man knocked her down outside her house and grabbed her purse. The purse was recovered at the Tropicana Casino.
Police are not saying if the robberies are linked, but are urging shoppers to be aware of their surroundings.
