Police: Beer pong game led to deadly stabbing

CHERRY HILL, N.J. - May 30, 2011

The Camden County prosecutor's office tells Action News a beer pong game was taking place around 2:15 a.m. at a home on the 1200 block of Kay Drive in Cherry Hill.

Police say an argument broke out due to the drinking game between 21-year-old William Walker Jr. and 19-year-old Naqueebullah Habibi, both from Cherry Hill.

Once the game ended, officials say Habibi was going to his car to leave and Walker followed. A fight started in the front lawn. Habibi then stabbed Walker, police say.

Walker was later pronounced dead at Cooper University Hospital.

Walker worked as an EMT with Exceptional Medical Transport in Atlantic City.

Habibi is being charged with murder and is being held on $750,000 cash bail.
