Vincent Mickle, 34, was accused of preying on six girls ranging in age from 14 to 16 years old.
Police say Mickle posed as an 18-year-old boy and befriended the girls on social networking websites.
Police say the investigation began when Mickle gained the trust of a 14-year-old girl, and soon began exchanging sexually explicit photos with the girl via the website and over cell phones.
He then allegedly met the girl at Frankford and Cottman and solicited sex, but the girl did not comply. Soon after, police were notified.
The subsequent investigation turned up five more victims, and police say Mickle had sex with at least one of those girls.
Authorities say the incidents have been going on since 2007.
Mickle could be sent to prison for up to 265 years.
