Gunfire erupted around 11:00 p.m. on the 6100 block of Belfield Avenue. A man was shot multiple times.
The victim was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 11:17 p.m.
Police found evidence of the shooting around the corner in the 400 block of Cosgrove. That area was cordoned off while police conducted their investigation.
Investigators have not released word on if they have suspects or a motive in this case.
