Suspects sought in armed Burger King robbery

Police are looking for two men involved in an armed robbery of a Philadelphia Burger King.

It happened around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the restaurant at 101 East Olney Avenue.

Investigators say one of the suspects pointed a silver and black handgun at an employee while the other suspect jumped over the counter.

He grabbed money from the register and both men fled on foot.

Several employees in the rear of the building went out the back door, tripping an alarm.

The suspect holding the gun is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, standing about 5'6" tall with plaits or braided hair. He was wearing a white shirt and a red baseball cap.

The man who jumped the counter is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old with sideburns. He was also wearing a white shirt and a blue baseball cap.
