Police in New Castle County, Delaware, report an armed man pushed his way into an apartment.
According to authorities, a woman who lives in the apartment whacked the bandit in the head several times with a frying ban.
She was able to grab the shotgun from the would-be robber.
The suspect was held by her roommates until the law arrived.
Authorities are charging Nathan Boykin with assault, burglary, attempted robbery and other counts.
