Delaware City Police displayed the pot plants that they rounded up during their raid on Tuesday.
Officers say Lora and Joseph Hodges had been growing more than three dozen plants behind a refinery off Route 72.
Investigators say they've had their eye on the couple ever since police officers assisting child protective services had noticed a fake wall inside the couple's trailer home back in February. The officers also observed signs of a possible marijuana growing operation.
After conducting an investigation, officers executed a search warrant on the home located in the Delaware City Mobile Home Village.
Police found a large amount of processed marijuana and large buds. Officers also found more items used in growing marijuana in a car.
Joseph Hodges then took officers to a field behind the Delaware City Refinery where they found 39 live marijuana plants and numerous other dead plants. Police placed 33-year-old Joseph Hodges and 30-year-old Lora Hodges under arrest. They are charged with manufacturing, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a residence for sale of marijuana and conspiracy.
Both are in police custody awaiting arraignment.
