Russell Tellup gave a Domino's Pizza driver a $20 check.
But the check bounced.
Now, Tellup says he's being hit with a summons for more than 740 bucks, to cover court costs and attorney fees.
The Colorado man says he never got a letter that he owed $40 -- 20 for the pizza and 20 more for the rubber check.
A company lawyer tells KRDO-TV there has to be a penalty for failure to pay.
Tellup says he'll accept an offer to settle out of court for 600 bucks.
