Mrs. Fixit: Alternative Uses For Rubber Stamps

June 26, 2011

These little rubber bumpers are intended to protect doors and walls.. but there are so many other uses for them. I'll show you just a few.

Put a couple of clear rubber bumpers on the top side of a wooden hanger to keep delicate items with spaghetti straps from falling off the hangers.

On the back of a picture frame those same bumpers will not only protect the wall but will also keep the picture from sliding on it's wire. Apply the bumpers to the underside of a cutting board to keep it from slipping on your counter while you're trying to use a sharp knife.

Some bumpers on the bottom of a soap dish will keep the dish from marring the surface of your sink.

Protect a glass top table from scratches by putting clear bumpers on the base for the glass to rest on. They're virtually invisible and they protect the table from getting scratched and keep it from sliding.

How's that for bumping up some uses for those rubber bumpers! I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
