4 statues worth $10K each stolen

The statues were stolen from the front yard of a residence in the unit block of Brendle Lane sometime between Friday June 24th and Saturday June 25th.

New Castle County police are investigating the theft of four black stone statues from the Williamhurst community in Northern Wilmington.

The statues were stolen from the front yard of a residence in the unit block of Brendle Lane sometime between Friday, June 24th and Saturday, June 25th.

The statues were imported by the victim from Zimbabwe.

Two of the statues were of monkeys and the other two were of abstract people.

Each statue is approximately two to three feet tall and they weigh around 150 pounds each.

The statues are valued at approximately $10,000 each.
