The shooting occurred at 9:41 p.m. at the Kingsessing Recreaction Center located at 4901 Kingsessing Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.
Police say someone opened fire at the basketball courts, striking an unidentified male four times, two times in the back and two times in the buttocks.
He was rushed by private vehicle to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment.
