Police say that 62-year-old Wilfredo Roman Serrano was the man beaten to death.
The incident happened around 9:25 p.m. Sunday at a bar on North Fairhill Street and West Lehigh Avenue.
Serrano was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 10:00 p.m.
Homicide detectives interviewed patrons inside of the bar when the attack occurred.
However, no arrests have been made so far.
