2 sought in Limerick jewelry outlet robbery

Shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday, two men entered the Zales Outlet store. The first man through the door approached a store associated and asked to see the engagement rings. The second suspect followed and asked a different employee if he could see some tennis bracelets.

According to police, the first man requested a SKU number from one of the engagement rings, and as the store associate was getting the information, the second man pulled out a black handgun.

The men pulled out black trash bags from their pants pockets and directed the store employees to fill the bags with jewelry. After the bags were filled, the suspects told the employees to go into the backroom.

The actors then left the store, calmly walking out the front toward the parking lot.

Police have provided the following suspect descriptions:

Actor #1: Black male, possible with a goatee/beard, thin build, wearing a green Phillies cap, jeans, green/white stripped polo shirt, and possibly wearing glasses.

Actor #2: Black male, with long beard, thin build, wearing a red Phillies cap, a Nike tee shirt, shorts, and Aviator glasses.

The men made off with a large amount jewelry, including several solitaire engagement rings, enhancers, fancy engagement rings, quads, and solitaire engagement rings with side diamonds. Most of the rings were white gold, including a 2 carat diamond engagement ring.
