Suspicious Phila. dumpster fires connected

FOX CHASE - July 20, 2011

The first one broke out around 3:30 a.m. on the 8300 block of Bustleton Avenue at the Bells Market Pharmacy. Fire officials say the fire originated in the rear dumpster area and then flames spread up the back wall of the pharmacy. The building sustained heavy fire damage.

The fire marshal's office has ruled the cause of this fire to be incendiary.

The Health Department will inspect the building this morning, to make sure it is safe to work in.

A few minutes later, a second dumpter fire started at 8152 Castor Avenue - just two blocks from the first fire. This fire was ignited inside a plastic trash can.

There is no official cause on the second fire as of yet.

Both places had cameras and the incidents were caught on camera, so detectives hope to make an arrest.
