The trend started with high-end, limited-time fashion deal sites like Beyond The Rack and Rue La La.
But now, thrifty fashionistas can also sign up to check out the deals on Fab.com, a site focusing more on home items than clothing.
The day we checked Fab, we found Beach Thingy backrests priced at $14, instead of $28.50. A lettuce karate chopper for $8 instead of the $12 retail price. And a guitar-shaped spatula was reduced from $20 down to $13.
The items were unique and the prices weren't budget-busting.
But new designer site Editor's Closet has price tags with a few more digits.
Here, we found Bottega Venetta sunglasses reduced from $565 down to $144. A Valentino winter coat was on sale for $503. That sounds like alot, until you see the original retail price was $3, 839.50.
The Ivory Truck offers similar deals, including a $6110 Prada coat for just $479 and a $6611 Prada lounge dress for $693.
The OutNet had some less pricey deals, including a silk Dolce and Gabbana dress -- cut from $2220 down to $555. And a Juicy Couture cashmere jacket. It was selling for $132 down from the original $330.
