20-year-old Joshua Polanco of Camden is charged with numerous offenses, including five counts of attempted murder, after allegedly firing at State Troopers who were trying to apprehend him during an armed robbery.
He was arrested by two State Troopers and two Camden officers.
The incident took place around noon along the Admiral Wilson Boulevard near Baird Boulevard.
New Jersey State Police say Polanco fired upon a trooper and they returned fire.
No injuries were reported.
