The beating happened around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Rowland and Ryan avenues.
Police say it started as a fight between two groups of teens. At some point a large group of teens converged on a 15-year-old boy outside a pizza shop, where he was beaten.
The victim was rushed to Aria Hospital Torresdale Division with multiple injuries.
Police have two people in custody for questioning.
Officers haven't released the boy's name or condition but do say they're talking to witnesses.
