The blaze was reported just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday on the 7100 block of Cottage Street .
When firefighters arrived, they found four people on the roof screaming for help.
One neighbor had already tried using his own ladder to reach the victims, but firefighters quickly arrived to make the rescue.
Crews also took extra precautions fighting this one, because of the brutal overnight temperatures.
Officials say a rehab station with water and cold towels was set up
The victims were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and are expected to be okay.
