2-alarm fire spreads through Wilmington homes

WILMINGTON - July 23, 2011

The fire broke out shorly after 9:00 a.m. in a row home located on the 400 block of West 30th Street.

The fire quickly spread to three other homes.

As a result of the fire, about 350 people lost power and officials helped relocate residents to a facility with air conditioning.

Many firefighters collapsed because of the intense heat, but no one was seriously injured.
