Two-alarm fire damages NJ apartment complex

GLASSBORO, N.J., - July 26, 2011

The fire broke out around 7:30 Tuesday evening, at the Campus Crossing Apartments, located on the 500 block of Mullica Hill Road.

Upon arrival, heavy smoke was seen coming from the building and the fire went to a second alarm.

Fire crews were able to control the flames within an hour.

A firefighter was taken to Kennedy Hospital for burns to his hands.

Two apartment units were damaged in the blaze.

The Red Coss was called to the scene.

No word yet on how many people have been displaced.
