'Artistic' vandal defaces NW Pa. railroad building

CORRY, Pa. (AP) - July 27, 2011

Corry police tell the Erie Times-News that someone broke into a building owned by the Western New York & Pennsylvania Railroad and defaced some railroad crossing signs.

Specifically, police say the burglar took about 30 plastic and metal pieces from railroad crossing light trees and arranged them on the walls inside the building before spray-painting them different colors.

Police say the incident took place sometime between 8 p.m. Thursday and noon Sunday.

Corry is about 25 miles southeast of Erie.
