The head on collision happened around 3:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Black Horse Pike.
The driver of a vehicle struck a taxicab.
The impact of the crash caused the striking vehicle to careen off of the taxi and into a nearby marsh.
Two other vehicles were also struck in the accident, and received minor damage.
At least three people were injured and taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center.
No word on their condition.
