The double shooting happened around 3:40 p.m. along the 2200 block of East Ann Street.
Police say a 24-year old woman was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was identified Monday as Yavonne Burch.
A 32-year-old pregnant woman suffered a gunshot wound to the left calf. She was transported to Temple University Hospital for treatment.
The shooter is believed to have fled the scene in a vehicle and remains at large.
There is no word on a motive.
