Four injured in crash, 14-year-old driver faces charges

LOGAN - August 8, 2011

The crash happened about 12:30 a.m. at 13th Street and Wagner Avenue in the Logan section of the city.

Police say that the driver was going the wrong way down the street when he struck another vehicle.

The 14-year-old was charged with aggravated assault, theft and other related charges.

The teenage driver suffered injuries to his arm and shoulder. He was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

His idenity is not being released because he is minor.

The passenger in the teenager's car suffered internal bleeding, and was taken to Einstein Hospital in critical condition. His age is unknown.

Two other victims in the other vehicle were transported to Temple University Hospital with minor injuries.

Their ages are not clear.
