Twenty-three-year-old Christopher Sulo of Newark has been charged with burglary, theft and other offenses. He was released on unsecured bail.
Police say a trooper on patrol saw smashed glass in the front door of the Accent Music Store in Wilmington early Monday. The trooper followed a car she saw in the parking lot and Sulo was arrested. Officers say three Gibson guitars valued at more than $3,000 that had been stolen from the store were recovered from Sulo's vehicle.
Troopers also linked Sulo to the burglary Aug. 1 of DS Music in Newark. Three guitars worth $2,000 were stolen in that crime.
