Police say Quivers was driving north on Route 9 in Barnegat Township Sunday when Robert Crockett hit her vehicle and took off.
Witnesses provided police with information and that led them to the 50-year-old.
Police told The Press of Atlantic City Crockett said he lost control, struck Quiver's vehicle and fled.
Police issued Crockett tickets for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, reckless driving and operating an unregistered vehicle.
No one was injured.
