The body was found at St. Asaph's Church located on St. Asaph's Road in Lower Merion Township.
The victim was identified as Johnathan F. Zellers of Philadelphia.
Zellers' was homeless but the church allowed him to sleep in a car in the parking lot.
The 62-year-old recently fell on hard times and lost his house.
He also suffered from a list of medical issues.
Officials have confirmed that Zellers died of natural causes.
