Police say 34-year-old Kelly Vinkler, of Bagley, was killed in the crash Monday about 11:15 p.m. in Derry Township. Vinkler's boyfriend, 38-year-old Shane Rudy, tells state police in Greensburg the couple had been at a fire hall social club in Latrobe just before the crash occurred.
Police say Vinkler was thrown from her car when it rolled several times after failing to make a left curve, hitting an embankment and then sideswiping a utility police.
Rudy tells police he was following Vinkler and put his bike down in an effort to avoid the wreckage, but the bike slid across Vinkler's body.
Police are still investigating.
