2 men found dead in Ocean County inlet

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, N.J. - August 29, 2011

There have been four other deaths in New Jersey related to the storm.

Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says 25-year-old Jorge Hernandez of Point Pleasant Beach was found around 10:40 a.m. Monday in a jetty of the Manasquan River inlet.

The second man, whose identity has not been determined, was found in a nearby area of the inlet in Point Pleasant Beach around 1:15 p.m.

Mohel says officials have learned Hernandez and another man had planned to go to the inlet early Sunday, possibly to watch the storm's approach. That remains under investigation.
