First off, make sure that you keep some tiles in case one of your tiles gets chipped or cracked then you have a tile from the same lot to make your repair.
Add some silicone buffers to the bottoms of several smaller tiles to make a set of custom coasters.
Adding the same feet to a bigger tile makes a great hot plate for protecting counters and tabletops.
Place some tiles in a heavy paper bag and use a hammer to break them up. Then use the pieces to create a fun mosaic piece.
For specifics on mosaics - check out my website.
Those broken pieces could also be used in the bottom of a pot as a drainage layer.
If you have a salvaged table or dresser that needs some TLC tile the top of it for a great new look.
If you're into crafting, an old tile is the perfect spot to rest your hot glue gun. I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
