Atlantic City Police Lt. Charles Love tells Action News that they are currently interviewing a person of interest in a sex assault case that took place in a hotel room inside of the Tropicana Wednesday night.
Lt. Love says a 19-year-old female left her room on the 5th floor to get ice and the door locked behind her.
A man came up to her asked if she would like to attend a party in another room.
The man took her into the bathroom in his room and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
Police have obtained video from the hotel and are interviewing the possible suspect.
