Three hospitalized in Route 202 crash

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, Del. - September 22, 2011

It happened shortly after 4:00 p.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes at Naaman's Road.

Initial reports indicate that a vehicle travelling West on Naaman's Road entered the intersection where it was struck by another vehicle travelling South on Concord Pike.

The impact of the crash sent one of the vehicles crashing into a third.

Police say one person was trapped inside their vehicle for a half hour.

All lanes of Route 202 South were closed during rescue operations.

Two victims were transported to Christiana Hospital, and the third was taken to Wilmington Hospital.

No word on the victim's conditions.
