The shooting happened at 24th Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue shortly before 7:00 p.m.
Police, responding to a report of shots fired, arrived to find a man shot multiple times in the legs, a second male shot, and a third male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Police rushed the first two victims to Temple University Hospital for care.
One of the victims, identified as 24-year-old Matthew Green, died overnight.
The third man was taken to Hahnemann Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
No arrests have been made.
