New Castle County police say Donna Sciglitano was arrested and charged Tuesday with murder and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.
Police say they were called to Sciglitano's home in the 200 block of Beau Tree Drive on Sept. 16 for a report of a shooting victim. Authorities say they found 59-year-old Nino Sciglitano Sr. dead inside the home.
Authorities say Donna Sciglitano was found unresponsive inside the home, and was taken to a hospital for treatment of an apparent overdose.
Police say she is currently being held without bail at a correction facility in New Castle.
