Phila. police search for suspect in multiple robberies

OLNEY - October 2, 2011

Over the course of two days, two different robberies occurred, one at the Collado Grocery store located at 4500 block of North 15th Street and the other at the Loudon Food Market located at 1400 block of Loudon Street.

On Sept. 25, an unknown male entered the Collado Grocery Store with a gun. He pointed the gun at the employee and demanded money.

The employee opened the register and gave him $500 in cash. The suspect fled the scene soon after.

On Sept. 26, an unknown male entered the Loudon Food Market, with a gun. In the same manner, he pointed the gun at an employee. The employee screamed, and the man fled the scene before taking any money.

Police believe that these robberies may have been committed by the same suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years of age, approximately 5'7"-5'8" tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, brown shirt, and blue jeans.
