The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 40th and Walnut streets. Police say one of the vehicles rammed into the side of the other.
Two people were trapped and had to be extricated from one of the vehicles. All three people were transported to the hospital with head back and neck injuries and are listed in stable condition.
Police are investigating.
