It happened around 1:30 on Saturday morning, on Troxel Road near Carriage Way in Towamencin Township.
Police say one vehicle went out of control and flipped onto its side.
One person was pronounced dead.
The other person in the car was taken to the hospital.
That person is in critical condition.
Police are trying to determine exactly what caused the car to go out of control.
