Police: 2 swipe change jar for girl with leukemia

SCRANTON, Pa. - October 14, 2011

The Times-Tribune of Scranton reports the donation jar for Kaidence O'Donnell was taken from a pizza shop on Sunday.

Video from the shop shows one man take the jar while employees are distracted. The other man hands him a shirt to conceal the jar as they leave the restaurant.

The girl's father, Sean O'Donnell says Kaidence was diagnosed with leukemia in December. The donation jar is meant to defray the cost of medical bills and hospital trips.

Sean O'Donnell told The Times-Tribune he's disappointed the money was stolen but he was glad nobody was hurt.
