DNA on cigar leads to Pa. man's burglary arrest

FEASTERVILLE, Pa. - October 26, 2011

Lower Southampton police say 45-year-old Timothy Hriczo was arrested last week in a July 2009 burglary and stolen car chase.

The Bucks County Courier Times reports officers pursued a vehicle suspected in the burglary but lost sight of the car, only to discover it abandoned later. DNA tests were performed on a cigar left the stolen station wagon after its owner told police he didn't smoke.

The Courier Times report says test results came back over the summer. Hriczo was arrested during an appointment with his parole officer.

Hriczo is in Bucks County prison on $100,000 bail. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney.
