Flames erupt inside Del. grocery store
PRICES CORNER, Del. - October 31, 2011
It happened shortly after 5:00 p.m. in the Gigante Supermarket in the Depot Shopping Center along Kirkwood Highway and Newport Gap Pike.
Arriving firefighters reported flames in the rear of the market and intense smoke throughout the building.
Customers inside the store at time were safely evacuated.
Crews were able to put out the fire. No injuries were reported.
Investigators are still piecing together what sparked the blaze.
