Power problems remain in NJ after storm

TRENTON, N.J. - November 2, 2011

There are 194,000 homes and businesses still without power. That's down from about 700,000 during the height of the storm on Saturday.

PSE&G and JCP&L say crews are faced with repairing a number of single lines that were taken down by fallen trees.

More than a dozen school districts in northern New Jersey remain closed Wednesday. Some districts are worried that they'll use all their anticipated snow days before the winter even starts.

Service on NJ Transit's Morris & Essex Line remains suspended between Hackettstown and Lake Hopatcong.
