Alleged drunk driver hits, injures 3 pedestrians in NJ

GLASSBORO, N.J. (AP) - November 6, 2011

Twenty-seven-year-old Kelli Hennessey of Franklin Township faces three counts of aggravated assault by auto and DWI charges in connection with Sunday morning's accident in Glassboro. She was being held in the Gloucester County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Glassboro police say 22-year-old Jaclyn Halm of Denville was trying to cross Delsea Drive with Julia-Ann Ranuro and Rebeca Semon, both 20-year-old Glassboro residents, when they were hit around 1:45 a.m.

Halm was being treated at Cooper University Hospital in Camden for what authorities say were "severe" injuries, while Ranuro was being treated at Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury. Semon refused treatment at the scene.
