Police were called at approximately 10:57 p.m. to a house located on the unit block of 3rd Avenue in the Overlook Colony section of Claymont, Delaware.
Police arrived to find two men lying unresponsive on the kitchen floor, each suffering from a gunshot wound to their chest.
One of the victims, later identified as 20-year-old Quiandre Borican of Wilmington, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, identified as Dishawn Burbage, 24, of Claymont, was rushed to Christiana Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the victims were friends and that the shooting appears to have been accidental, saying the gunshots were inflicted by Burbage.
Both of the victims' bodies have been turned over to the Medical Examiner's Office where the exact cause of death will be determined.
