This info has the potential to save you a lot of money.

Comparison shopping and coupon site ExtraBux.com has crunched the numbers and just released pricing data on the best days of the week to buy certain items.

If you want the best online price on computers, TVs, cameras and video games, your best bet is to shop on Mondays. The worst day to buy is when prices peak and that typically happens on Fridays. Extrabux.com found the average sale price for computers, for instance, climbed almost 4% Monday to Friday.

For washers, dryers, ovens and refrigerators, you'll find the lowest prices on Sundays. Appliance prices tend to hit their peak on Tuesdays.

Book prices are the highest on Friday and the lowest on Saturday.

Jewelry generally bucks the pattern: On Saturdays you'll find the highest prices on jewelry; The lowest prices for jewelry are on Wednesdays.

Extrabux.com says it ran its pricing analysis on thousands of e-retailers, including Amazon.com Inc., to track the pricing histories for more than 100,000 products.
