A three-story, twin home caught fire Tuesday afternoon on the 5000 block of Comly Street in Tacony. Firefighters said they were told a man was trapped inside the burning home when they arrived on scene. Crews fought to rescue the 53-year-old man, but he was dead when firefighters reached him. The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
