NJ resort locked down after report of gunman

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. - November 21, 2011

Galloway Township Police Chief Patrick Moran told The Press of Atlantic City employees at the Seaview Resort spotted the man at 7 p.m. Sunday. He was seen holding a long gun, possibly a rifle, and was wearing a hat and a bandanna covered his face.

The man exited the building and was not located.

Police and a State Police helicopter searched the area.

Officers reviewed the resort's surveillance video and hope to release a picture Monday.

Richard Stockton College purchased the resort in September and uses it as a learning lab. Its Bay Course is the site of the ShopRite LPGA Classic golf tournament.
