Man sought in 4 Bucks County robberies

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - November 29, 2011

The suspect struck a Shell gas station in Doylestown and a 7-Eleven in Quakertown, along with other locations in Hilltown and Bedminster.

Action News obtained surveillance video from around 4:00 a.m. Sunday at the 7-Eleven on 500 block of West End Boulevard in Quakertown, where the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

The suspect displayed some type of green handle knife or box cutter.

At 12:30 a.m., the Shell gas station at 1807 S. Easton Road in Doylestown was robbed by a man also carrying a box-cutter knife as he covered his face with a white towel or T-shirt, police said.

The robber, who wore a green jacket with a hood, demanded that the Shell station worker take all the money from the cash register and place it in a plastic bag.

He then fled with the money, police said.

The man was described as between 20 and 30 years old, 6' tall and around 175 pounds.

No injuries were reported in these incidents.
