Reward offered for teen murder suspect

PHILADELPHIA - December 3, 2011

18-year-old Monique Robinson of Phoenixville is wanted in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Selvin Lopez, a Guatemalan immigrant. The alleged triggerman Saleem Williams, as well as Steven Reidler are already in custody.

On September 14th, shortly before 1:00 a.m., Lopez was returning home after working a night shift at a Wendy's when he was approached by the trio who grabbed his backpack.

He chased after them. They got to the 100 block of Prospect Street.

Police say according to Saleem Williams, Robinson handed him the gun and said, "shoot him". He complied and they fled.

Robinson has been on the run ever since. Now comes word she has been spotted in North Philadelphia.

Police say the Phoenixville High School student has been in trouble with the law before.

Since the weapon has not been recovered, police consider her armed and dangerous.

Monique Robinson stands 5 '3" tall and weighs 155 pounds. She goes by the nickname "Geek".

Her previous addresses include the 700 block of West Bridge Street and the 100 block of Dayton Street, both in Phoenixville.

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $2,500 reward.

If you've seen her, don't approach her, call the tip line at 215-546-TIPS.
